Jimmy Poon came from Hong Kong about 25 years ago. He landed in New York and opened a very successful restaurant called "Island Buffet". It was instant hit. The restaurant was so busy, the food was so good, but his only problem was the lak of parking space.

After several years in New York, he decided to make another career move. He sold his restaurant and moved down to Orlando to look for new venture.

He finally decided to open a take out restaurant called Empire Szechuan in downtown Orlando. After two years of hard work, Ernpire Szechuan became talks of the town. Former mayor Glenda E.Hood sent her wishes for his success. Scott Joseph called "the Chinese food returns to downtown in a big way".
